Christopher G. Korge is an attorney, retailer and real estate developer, who has managed to balance his life successfully between his family, business, politics and community activities. Chris and his partner, Wyn Bradley, live in Coral Gables, Florida. As a family man he has 3 children, Andrew, Kristina and Angela, all of which have carried on the family tradition of involvement in the community and political activities. He is also the proud grandfather of five grandchildren: Alivia, Anthony, Amelia, Remy and Roman.
Chris has been extremely active in national politics for thirty years and has served in numerous official capacities. He presently is the elected National Finance Chairman for the Democratic National Committee. He has served in the past as National Finance Chairman for Hillary Clinton for President, National Finance Vice-Chairman for the DNC, and Chairman of the Democratic Business Council for the DNC. Since 2019, Chris has served as the elected National Finance Chair for the DNC. He has also served in 2023 and 2024 as the Biden Victory Fund National Finance Chair and the Harris Victory Fund National Finance Chair. During the 2020 Presidential campaign, Chris personally raised $17,381,000 for the Biden Victory Fund making him the largest BVF raiser in the country. Since the April 2023 launch of the Biden Harris 2024 re-elect and the 2024 Harris-Walz Campaign, Chris personally raised $32,781,000 making him the largest raiser for a presidential campaign cycle ever. He has hosted at his home President Barack Obama and President Clinton 12 times, and has on numerous other occasions hosted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Senator Ted Kennedy, Senator Tom Daschle, Senator Tammy Duckworth, Senator John Corzine, and Senator Bob Graham, just to name a few. He also was an early supporter and fundraiser for Senator Schumer in his first campaign for the United States Senate. He has served in the past as a Trustee for the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee and Trustee of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. He has had a national reputation for over thirty years as one of the most prolific national Democratic fundraisers in America.
Chris has been extremely involved in charitable activities in the community. He has served on the Florida International University Foundation Board, Founder of the FIU Medical School, Chairman of the Coconut Grove Junior Chamber Foundation, Chairman of the United Way Mayor’s Ball, Trustee of the Miami Art Museum, Vice Chairman of the Urban League of Greater Miami, President of the Coconut Grove Jaycees, Vice President of the Greater Miami Host Committee, as well as a board member of the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and Recording for the Blind. He has raised and given millions of dollars for charitable causes including the United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Special Olympics, Zoological Society, the Clinton Foundation, the Obama Foundation, Miami Art Museum, Alfalit International, FIU Medical School, University of Florida, University of Miami School of Architecture, American Cancer Society, to name a few. He has always looked at being involved with his family, his country and people in need as an important part of his life and believes that Service to Humanity is the Best Work of Life. Chris has been recognized and received numerous honors and awards because of his philanthropic, political and charitable activities including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the Moawad Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award to
